Getting Started in Illinois

Posted

Hey everyone, I am a brand new investor looking to get started in the suburbs of Chicago. I’m looking to find people to connect with and learn from, I’ve watched plenty of podcasts and videos through BiggerPockets and I’m finally ready to take action and get things moving. I have been looking at and analyzing deals, as well as starting a class for my real estate license. I just feel stuck right now and don’t want to make the wrong moves. Please reach out and connect to me if there’s any way I can help! Thanks.

Hey @Michael Nowakowski - Welcome to the Chicago BP forums tons of great resources and advice here.

You mentioned taking action, so what is your Most Important Next Step?  It can be something as simple as paying for the real estate class, committing to analyze 1 deal a day, or connecting with a local Chicago realtor to have them send you deals.

My opinion, but I think the only wrong move you can make is standing still......

Feel free to reach out, happy to connect and help any way that I can.
