Buying a first house in Cleveland
Hey everyone! Long time podcast listener/ FB group member, first time here on the forums.
I'm moving to Cleveland and looking for a duplex for my first house (graduated college a week ago)
I have a family member here who owns a few houses and has retired off of their cashflow. He's willing to help me find a house and work through everything. Do I need a realtor/ mortgage broker? If not, do you have any tips for scouting multiple banks for financing? whenever I fill out a form online I get inundated by a bunch of spam with nothing tangible.

Obviously I am biased about using a real estate agent :) Of course you don't need to, however I have found and negotiated many deals for myself and others and have a very good understanding of the market here. Also when buying you don't pay the agents commission but the seller does, so its a win win for you and your agent. Please let me know if I can help in anyway.
