STR Purchase and management through Evolve. Yay or nay??

Hello everyone - I'm very new to Bigger Pockets and still looking to invest in my first real estate deal.  I'm especially interested in vacation rentals.  I see that Evolve sells turnkey STRs and will also manage them for a fee which interests me on many levels since it would be out of state and also an existing property with bookings to pass along to a new owner.  Has anyone had any experience with purchasing a property through Evolve and having them manage it?  Thanks!

Hi Patty, welcome to BP!  We started our STR journey this past year in May and chose to use Evolve to manage.  We acquired the property on my own, but I've wondered what the process is like having them acquire and sell to you.  I would be curious as well.  I can say that Evolve has done a great job managing the front end of the biz for us.  I basically become the manager when they arrive and am the boots on the ground for their stay.  I am trying to figure out if our reviews stay with them if we decide to self-manage or if we lose them.  That could be a negative.
