FHA for multi-family

Hi. I am would like to start my RE investing in a multi-family home. My plan is to use a FHA loan, leveraging my 401k for the down payment, and paying cash for CC and to have a small reserve fund.

My question is in regard to the FHA loan: What things can I do/have in order to make this process smooth and fast as possible, as I have heard these long are lengthier.

Thanks.
