Starting Out In Real Estate

Hello BP I'm 23 and I'm looking to buy a multi family house within the next year or so! I would love to use the FHA loan to get my first property, however, I'm worried about getting a loan due to my low income; I'm only making $16 an hour right now. I have applied to some assistant property manager positions but due to my lack of certifications and experience it's hard to find a job. I have thought about getting my real estate license or my home inspector license to increase my income and better prepare me for investing. I'm really just looking for any advice that you may have about entry level positions or certificates that would put me on the right track for getting my real estate journey started. If anyone has been in this position to start out I would love to hear about what you did to get started.
