I'm going for it but wife is hesitant

So going full into research mode and sharing my findings with my wife and I bring up the fact the buying a multifamily for our first home is better than buying a single family but she's not having it. I'm trying to tell her the benefits outweighs the concerns that she has but I don't want to dismiss her reason because they do hold some validation.

She does not want to buy a multifamily because she worries about other people not being as clean as we are and infesting the property with bugs. We have lived like this in the past and hated it. What can I do to convince her that this is not always the case and we can make real wealth this way

Lol that is quite a stretch. The obvious answer to her issue is that you can pick your tenants. However, I highly doubt that somehow picking a tenant who will infest the property with bugs is what she is worried about. It could be a good idea to have a serious talk about yalls future - will you delay gratification for a couple years, be able to buy multiple properties, and get a better house down the line, or do you want to get as much as you can afford right now, have a high payment, and slow your growth - but have a better living situation in the moment. Both options are just fine but its definitely something you should be on the same page about.
