Newbie needing guidance

Hello, I have a new LLC and I'm trying to invest what would be my salary into a duplex/triplex to do short term rentals for my coworkers. Since my company is very new it has no credit just funding. What type of professional do I need in order to guide me so I can invest in properties by not taking a salary?

Got it - I think that what's happening here is that you are just brand new to real estate and don't yet feel a master of the game. Here's what I recommend:

1) Subscribe to the BiggerPockets Podcast, and start listening to one every day while you drive, shop, workout, etc. I like to listen at 1.5 - 2X speed.

2) Start asking questions here every day to help you learn more mental models. "What's the "Due on sale" clause" is a great question. Here is a great thread on that topic: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...

Go read the Ultimate Beginner's guide to real estate investing. That will be a great starting point for you.

Relax, and enjoy the journey - real estate investing is a game that requires dozens or hundreds of hours of self-education before it makes sense. That's good. It keeps most people out of the game and leaves more profit for those of us who are willing to put in the work.
