Recommended Coaches/ Master Mind Groups in NJ?

Posted

Hello I'm really interested in investing in real-estate and making it my business. Currently in college majoring in Finance with a recently picked up concentration in Real Estate. Is there any recommended Master Mind groups to join or coaching that would provide significant ROI? Predominately looking to invest in Essex county and Bergen county. I've started to go to networking events on meetup but I'm still not confident in my path to start attaining capital or what way is most possible. Some people say start with Wholesaling, then start flipping, then go into buy and hold. How much of this is true? All advice is appreciated.

My suggestion is do not attend these " guru " seminars. Simply connect with someone doing deals, learn then apply what you learn. I have never been to any seminar for RE, and I have done about 500 deals in the Cleveland markets, nothing I have not seen. Own a PM co with more than 600 doors (will have 1k in 5 months or so ) 30 contractors plus 4 full time handymen. I learned from actually doing side by side, not reading books or taking guru advice

All the best
