First time buyers in Jacksonville

Makenna Halls
Posted

Moving from Idaho to Jacksonville for part of the year and we were planning on just renting, but we are curious about rental real estate and using a management company to help manage it in case we aren't there long term. We don't know much about Florida, but is there a certain location you recommend for long term investments if you recommend investing at all? Is there anything specific we should look out for or any advice you have for us? We are just newly weds trying to make a wise financial decision. Thank you in advance!

@Makenna Halls are you looking at buying a house in FL and renting it out if you don't like it, or renting your house out in Idaho incase you move back?

If you are looking at buying in FL and renting later after you  move out you wouldn't need a management company until you moved out.

In a great spot to learn more about RE! Congrats on your first post!
