Newbie looking to learn and connect

Hello BP Community,

My name is John Vang and I’m currently residing in St. Paul, MN. I work a W2 like the average American. While family and friends say that I should be satisfied, I’ve come to see that I am just another cog powering the machine for another’s wealth and success; moreover, I am replaceable. This pondering has led me to see: life is a blessing - so why not live a phenomenal life instead of an average one?

I am a firm believer that there are no accidents and such was the way that I was introduced to Real Estate Investing. I’ve been diligently studying and listening to Podcast, but it can only go so far - I am ready to pull the trigger and take action.

I would love to meet, connect, and learn from any and all in this community. Would also love to join any local REI meetups. Any and all advices are appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi @John Vang, you're exactly where you should be!  I also live and house-hack a duplex with my wife in Saint Paul, I'd be happy to chat and share my experiences and provide advice/recommendations.  There are lots of great meetups on the facebook investor groups and meetups websites.  Happy to share a few.
