Empty Lot, Not Sure What To Do!

Hi everyone! So my parents have a plot of land in Florida and they're not really sure what to do with it. They don't really have the money for a new build, and they can't move there because of their jobs. I was thinking maybe I could help them out in some way, but I'm not sure what my options are. I'd be willing to help them financially for a build but if I went FHA I'd have to live there for a year (no big deal for me) and then move out and rent it out? Maybe they could sell the land and use the money for a down payment on a resell? Just thinking of options and not sure what to do. Thanks in advance!
