looking for any insight anyone has for short term rentals and funding

 Hey Jeramia,

I find I get better insight when I ask more targeted questions.  Your question is so vague. Where does one begin?

The Big picture is that there are many short-term rental strategies that work but not in all areas and property types. STRs can be highly impacted by competition and market saturation, government regulations, the area, the property itself, and how appealing they are designed. There are also many ways to finance them, however, if you need rental income from the property to qualify for the loan, you will need to use LTR income to qualify, or you will need a DSCR loan. I'd recommend you get into some STR groups and network. Start to narrow down your plan and your path and questions will become more targeted. Good luck, and reach out if you want to chat.
