LLC Transactions On Rental

Hello All

I hope everyone is doing well. 

Quick question - we are going to move out of our current townhouse and start renting it out in the middle of September (hopefully we'll have renters by then) so my question is should we prorate September's mortgage so that we pay for the days we were in the townhouse as our primary residence and our LLC pay for the days starting when the townhouse is used as a rental property. The deed will also be transferred to the LLC.
