Investing in Little Rock from afar?

Question

Though I currently live in Maine, I went to college in central Arkansas and often head back 1-2x a year to visit friends. I have noticed that the Argenta District of North Little Rock (and LR in general) seems to be on the upswing. I'm curious to know if anyone has experience investing in the area? Are North Little Rock properties and and Little Rock properties cash flowing well? How about in Conway? Are there other investors with experience investing in the greater Little Rock area from afar? Thanks for any insights and advice!

Central Arkansas is a great place to buy long term properties. It's not hard to find properties that will cash flow here. It is more difficult to find in the very best areas of Little Rock and North Little Rock but it can be done.

I own several that cash flow and have help many others find off market properties that are great cash flowing assets for them as well. Feel free to reach out if I can help in any way.

Hi Katie,

I agree central Arkansas is a good place to find cash flow. Conway and Bryant/ Benton are harder to cash flow bc they are higher in demand and growing but you might anticipate having greater appreciation there. There are definitely properties that cash flow in LR and NLR, but you have to be careful if you want to avoid high crime areas. Hey Katie, our team has been looking more into Little Rock and we had the same thoughts about the areas you identified above (don't know much about Conway though). Are you all thinking a small multi-family or SFR?
