Rookie Investors Making first International Purchase

Good day, I'm a rookie international investor making my first international purchase. Upon transferring the funds, an issue came up with which exchange rate was being used, and I think our lawyers made a mistake. What happens if your lawyer makes an error in the midst of a transaction like this? I think we have it figured out, but even so... so anxious rn 😅
