Looking to have my first Flip

Elad Itzhari
Posted

Hello everyone,

After hard work, I managed to save $90,000 in cash and I want to find my first deal. Flip and fix.

I'm in New York, and I probably won't find anything in my area within the budget I have.

I was thinking of North Carolina or Trenton New Jersey, but I'm open to other places.

I would love to hear your opinion on these places or get more tips on how to get started.

I don't have an agent or team yet. I'm at the very beginning.

Thank you

Hello Elad,

Hard work pays off, congrats on hitting this savings milestone!

Agreed with @Pat Lulewicz regarding the importance of speed. Flipping can be risky for first-time investors.. even more-so if you're flipping remotely.

My advice would be to:
- keep researching markets to determine your target area
- begin growing your team (lender, contractor, realtor, wholesaler, etc.) as you narrow down location options to make the process more efficient
- consider other strategies - BRRRR, buy & hold or househacking locally

All the best!

Abel
