Direct book payments

Kimberly Agnew
Posted

I have a guest who would like to direct book my airbnb for a week. Would like to not go through airbnb to avoid their fees. But she wants to pay by credit card. I am new to all this and we have only had our Airbnb for a couple of months so I hate to set up and pay for something while we are just getting our feet wet. Any suggestions how I can take a credit card payment from this individual?  Thanks in advance for your help!

We have used Venmo, Paypal, etc for off platform bookings.  I prefer they mail a check and they do 90% of the time but if they really push the issue I use the previously mentioned methods.  I know they can pay with a credit card through Venmo...not sure about paypal as my wife handles that.....
