First Direct Mailing Advice?

Hey bigger pockets forum!

I created and sorted my list from list source and got about a list size of a little over 300 for my first mailing. I found a cool way to save time so I don't have to write all those letters and I can just scan them. I was just asking for some advice. Any things I should know. How many times I should mail? (How many days between mailing) Should I keep mailing the same list over and over? Should I purchase a new list every month? Any help would be great.

if you have microsoft office(word)there is a very cool and simple way to create your letters in literally 5 minutes.i could show you have just send me a message. But to answer your question, if you go to vistaprint.com(no affiliation) you could get about 500 postcards for $35.00. I suggest about a week apart 1 letter, then post card and then another letter(your letters should read differently)example: letter 1. we are interested in Buying Your Property, letter 2. We have not heard from you and we are still interested in Buying Your Property.

The post card should be simple not really to personal just something showing you are an company(even if you are not), basically trying to brand or make an impression in the members mind.

I suggest envolopes from you local dollar store and stamps books from the post office, they are cheaper when you by them in booklets.

and if you have the list in a spreadsheet, color coordinate them every time the call Red, Green. You will definetly receive those stop mailling me, how did you get my information calls. and you do not want to continue mailing to those.

I usually include 1 letter, with a business card and another sheet explaining criteria we are looking for.
