STR_ Questions ( Using 2 Bedrooms out of 4 for Airbnb )

Henry Edeh
Posted

Hello everyone,

I’m new to real estate and recently purchased my first home in Little Rock, Arkansas. I plan to use two of the bedrooms for Airbnb short-term rentals. However, I’m unsure about the demand for Airbnb in Little Rock. Could anyone share advice or insights on the market here?

Additionally, I would be grateful if I could find a mentor from the forum to guide me on this journey.

Thanks in advance!

Go to Airbnb and see what the demand is.  There's a map of all the properties listed on that site.  That will tell you something.  Also do the enemy method (dot com) to suss out your competition.  Look at properties with lots of reviews and lots of available dates to rent.  Compete with the top, not the bottom.  Finally, DECOR MATTERS.  Don't cheap out on this, and don't try to take photos with your cell phone.  It will show you're an amateur.  Good luck!
