New to Real Estate Investing, Looking for Advice!

Jordan Carroll
Posted

Hello, my name is Jordan and I'm a structural engineer for a firm in Kansas City. I'm wanting to dip my toes into investment real estate and the goal is to eventually be a full-time real estate investor. My wife and I recently bought a home for us and our growing family, but I would like to move forward with my first real estate investment in about 8-12 months. My target market for now is KC area, but I'm not sure if it should be a buy and hold, BRRRR, or a flip to get more capital and try to scale the business earlier. I'm also not sure if the first one should be a single family or multi-family property. I would like advice on how I should begin this endeavor!

I’m a local agent in Kansas City with over eight years of experience in the real estate field. I would love to connect and discuss our current market as well as some available properties!
