I've been thinking about after graduation and I don't know what I'm gonna do I want to know what route would make me the most successful and would benefit me the most, I want to know if most people go to college to get there degree or start on real estate right after they graduate highschool

Quote from @James McGovern:

I am a 2023 graduate of university of Connecticut and majored in economics.  I got started in real estate in 2021. Sadly the job market isn't kind to new graduates so real estate is the only answer for many

I get frustrated when I see broad statements like this because they're not true and can potentially lead young, impressionable minds to give up or not try to pursue well paying jobs. For some reason people assume that their individual experience must be the experience of the overwhelming majority of folks.

In the Research Triangle Park area of NC we can't find enough people to fill all the open jobs. Amgen, Fuji, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, and Kyowa Kirin either are building or have just built new factories. That's on top of the hundreds of other tech/biotech companies in the area.

Yes, not all degrees are created equal, and yes you may have to move to where the jobs are, but to say the economy is not kind to new graduates is ridiculous.
