Interested in property management

Caleb Lowe
Posted

Hi, my name is Caleb. I’m 18 years old and interested in getting into property management and real estate as a way to build financial freedom at a young age.

I’m reaching out because I’d love to learn from someone with experience in the industry. I’m trying to understand what I should look out for, where to get the best information, and what steps I can take now to grow my own business in the future. If you have any advice, resources, or even a few minutes to talk, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks for your time!

– Caleb

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and advice — I really appreciate it! I’ve actually been trying to learn more about Trusts and LLCs, especially since I’m interested in both owning and managing property in the future.

One thing I’m still a little confused about: Can I just open an LLC and start managing other people’s properties under that business? Or do I need some kind of certification, license, or real estate background first? I’ve been reading different things and want to make sure I stay legal and do it the right way.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
