Houston – Student Seeking Shadow Opportunity with Developer or Home Builder

Hey everyone,

I’m a finance student at the University of Houston with an associate degree in Construction Management. My long-term goal is to become a real estate developer, and I’m currently looking to get hands-on exposure.

I’d really like to shadow a local developer, general contractor, or home builder — just to be on-site, learn the process, and understand how things operate in the real world. I’m not asking for a job or internship, just an opportunity to observe and learn.

If you or someone you know in Houston might be open to that, I’d be super grateful. I’m willing to show up early, stay late, and help however I can. Just trying to gain real experience and soak up knowledge.

Thanks in advance for any leads or advice!
