Just Starting Out and Seeking to Learn More
Hello BiggerPockets community,
My name is Zac, and I am a 21-year-old fresh out of college based around Pittsburgh, PA, currently laying the groundwork for my first real estate investment.
I have been working since I was 15, mostly helping build other people’s businesses, and now I am ready to build something for myself. I have saved up around $15,000 and am diving head-first into real estate with a hybrid BRRRR + House Hack strategy, targeting duplexes in counties around Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh proper. I am focused on buying undervalued properties, rehabbing them, and renting out the units all with the long-term goal of scaling into a full portfolio and eventually creating financial freedom through cash-flowing assets.
I am very hands-on and doing all I can to learn, network, and take action the right way. I would love to connect with others who have done similar deals in the area or who might be open to mentoring, joint ventures, or even just sharing advice.
If you have worked in Pittsburgh or the surrounding counties (or know someone who has), I would really appreciate any insights you can share. I am also looking to connect with local investors, agents, lenders, contractors, or experienced landlords who may be open to collaborating or guiding someone who’s serious, driven, and ready to work.
