Partnering up for first property, is it worth it?
This is an idea I thought of recently, given the challenges I foresee facing having sufficient capital for the first property, which ideally would be a multifamily property and house hacked. Is it smart to partner up with someone else, whether its seller financing or otherwise, to provide capital for the property with someone who does not have a portfolio yet? It's an option I am exploring, given the financing I would explore in absence of would be zero down payment loans with a fair amount of limitations. If it seems like a doable option, how could I best sell myself to an investor I network with to go into business with? Thanks for your time.
