Starting out in Florida

My name is Christos, 23 years old, Banking & Finance student with one clear goal: build a US-focused buy-and-hold multifamily real estate firm targeting Class A/B properties in landlord friendly secondary and tertiary markets in Florida!
I am planning to move to the US in near future to start executing. I've been studying deal structures, underwriting fundamentals and market dynamics but I know that knowledge without relationships is nothing in this business.
Therefore I am looking to connect with:
- Operators and syndicators who are actually in the trenches
- Anyone willing to take on a motivated finance student for an internship or shadowing opportunity. I'm available this summer and willing to work hard for the experience
- Mentors willing to share hard-won lessons
Finance background (M&A Deals Advisory) and a long-term mindset. Happy to bring value however I can in exchange for guidance.
