So im purchasing a smaller home to live in. Im also looking to do a couple updates like the fridge to start with. Ill be painting inside and hopefully the metal roof. Has a 2 stall garage but 1 stall has an opening system. Id like to add an opening system to the other door.  Kitchen and bathroom is hard wood and the rest is carpet.

Is there a common thing all or most houses get rite away that increase value?
