Duplex Conversion in Milwaukee
Hello,
I am very new to real estate investing and I am currently in the beginning stages of converting my single family home into a duplex. It has the layout of a duplex perfect for an upper and lower unit. Zoning does allow me to convert to a duplex. My next stage is to get separate meters installed for gas and electric, then move onto some light reno. For those of you that have done conversions, what would your advice be for someone doing this for the first time and what were some of your struggles? Thank you in advance!
