Business Brokers

I know that once you decide to venture down the road of REI, you won't become an instant millionaire. It takes time and education. I've read several books and talked to many people about wealth building strategies.

Owning your own business is something I'm also interested in. I've learned that it's not so much the product but the SYSTEM that makes your business successful. Next year, both my kids will be in school full time and my wife will be able to operate the majority of it. We've considered starting our own business or buying a business from a business broker. I figured I would throw this out there in hopes of getting some good input or suggestions. Has anyone had any experience dealing with Business Brokers?

The goal would be to keep my jobs for consistant income/benefits and use the business to fund our real estate investments.

Thoughts?.....Suggestions?.....
