Hello Albany NY wholesaler looking to network!

Hello all!!!

My name is Adam and I am new to BP. A little bit about myself I am 28 years old, I was born and raised in Albany (very familiar with the area) and graduated from SUNY Albany in 2011. I work for the City of Albany and currently finishing up my real estate license. I came across wholesaling a month ago and  I am educating myself on a daily basis.I recently started wholesaling properties and currently I am looking for rehabbers in the Albany NY area. I am offered properties everyday from distressed sellers looking to get out of their current property due to my job.

I had a long descriptive post but had to edit this post. My question is does anyone know of any attorneys in the albany NY area familiar with assignments and double closings?

Thanks in advance

Adam

 I'm aslo a newbie on the site and in the game. We currently own a 5 unit in Schenectady

and we are looking to refinance cash out on it soon. So we'll be looking for other properties in the capital region to invest in. Feel free to send me information on properties in the region.  We are looking to buy and hold preferably 3 units and better. PM me so I can provide you with the attorney info who assited us with the closing of the 5 unit. Not sure if she is familiar with assignments and double closings but you can ask. She is very helpful.

Hi there welcome to the site.  I'm also a newbie in Albany.  I've been on the site for over a month probably but haven't done any actual investing yet.  Still learning and getting all my ducks in a row.  I also just got my real estate license so I'm hoping to gain investing knowledge from that.  In case you didn't know there is a Real Estate Investor Club meetup in Latham at the Holiday Inn Express on November 17 at 5:45pm.  Perhaps you could get a reference for a good attorney there.  Hope to talk to you soon!

Consider checking out HUD homes for small multi's owner occupied gets first crack.

hello there and welcome,

I am a local aspiring wholesaler and looking to network. I am a newly licensed real estate agent and looking to attend REIA meetings, were you guys successful in finding local meeting around the capital region? @Adam Clark @Benjamin Brizzell

@Phil Park

Yes it's at the holiday inn in Latham.  In fact I believe they are meeting this evening at 5:15 or 5:45 I can't remember.  If you go to meetup.com you can get all of the details.  I haven't been able to go to any meetings yet although one of these days I'll get there.  Good luck!  If you need anything feel free to connect!

Thanks for the information! I will probably make the January meeting and hope to see you there!
