Good Job while starting to go into investing??

Hey BP!!

I just been hired into a job that will install cabinets and construction. I am excited to be working in real estate while working to be an investor as well. Did anyone else have the same scenario as me? if so, what advice do you have for me starting out here in Seattle, WA.

Learn to do your own inspections... watch the progress and don't focus so much on what goes right but instead on what goes wrong... what were the warning signs, what are the gotchyas, what are the WHOOPSes.  If you're planning to do any flipping/rehabbing, those things are what will break you... preventing them (or budgeting accordingly) is big.

You could get a broker's license.... applicable for RE activities.
