Good Evening BP.  I am new to all of this.  I am currently  living in Broward County in Florida and I am looking for a mentor to start my Flipping Career.  If any wholesalers have any deals in Dade / Broward in South Florida or the Chicago IL  area please consider me because I am looking for some good deals.   I look forward to working  and learning from you all.

If you are in FL, I would get my butt to Orlando, to check out Robyn Thompson. She has taught more successful flippers than anyone, and she just started a local REIA club in Orlando.

If that doesnt work for you, I would try to track down Frank McKinney.  He is a super successful flipper in south FL, he has been on Opra twice.

If that doesnt work, I would look to partner up with another local flipper.  Not just any flipper, but one who has been successful for several years. Flipping is probably the hardest way to make money in real estate.  You need to understand your market, controll your contractors with good contracts, have access to good financing, and know your after repaired value.  Even with all of that, you can still have problems.

As a wholesaler, why dont you offer a property to an experienced flipper as part of a joint venture. You put up the property, and he does the rest (while he teaches you) do that deal a few times and you will be ready to go out on your own.

To your success

Josh
