I'm young and ambitious. I'm employed by a railroad company and currently in school to be a combo welder. I'm seeking guidance. I'm looking for a mentor in the Baton Rouge area who's patient and willing to show me the ropes of real estate investing. Male or female, it makes no difference.

Welcome to the community @Tyress Wilson!  Seeking mentorship is an intelligent move.  Vet them as you would any 'partner'.  Be sure and show what you can do for them as well.  Many busy, successful RE people with integrity will need more than altruism to patiently show anybody anything.  What will you bring to the table?  Just a thought.  Good luck!
