hey all, i am new to bigger pockets and investing as a whole. I am a realtor in Spartanburg SC (got my license a few months ago ) but i want to get in to wholesaling and eventually flipping. From experience are realtors allowed to wholesale? It seem kinda weird i guess. Im going to speak to my broker about it next week but im not sure what to expect. Also if it is ok, how can i use that to my advantage?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated..
Welcome to Bigger Pockets. BP is full of resources. You will find resources here from blogs to pod casts and forums. You can also send messages to members. This is one of my favorite features of Bigger Pockets especially for asking specific questions.
Have you considered hanging your license with an investor friendly brokerage that allows you to do wholesaling, creative financing, etc? You should do some research on Step Stone Realty. I have my license with them and they will train you on the investing side of real estate and much more if it is what you are passionate about. Check into it.
Anyone is allowed to wholesale as long as they comply with the laws governing real estate transactions.
