Just brought a duplex as an owner occupier. Should I provide a refrigerator for the potential tenant, or should the tenant buy there own? Thanks for reading.

Hi derone, we have had some great discussions on supplying appliances the last couple of weeks...you could search those forums..

not to repeat too much..... But I did note some variations across markets and geographies and to summarize ---if all the other like units in your area have them, you should, too.

But even if the norm is to supply none in your area and price range, also consider wear and tear if they move this in and out every single turn over, and your tenant pool (will they have these in their sedan?)...

I think the majority would say "yes" supply it if you can even if a scratch and dent, mid grade or just well functioning used one...it just makes it easier on the unit and the tenant (who can pay you rent instead of the high interest appliance rent a center etc).....best of luck
