Salary Structure

I am attempting to complete my business plan.  However, I can find no information on the salary structure.

I am currently employed and plan to maintain my employment.  However, I would like to eventually make this my full-time job - My goal is 2 years.  However, being a contract employee I may need to do it as soon as November 2016 (if my contract is not renewed).

How do I set up the salary structure of the business?  Can anyone give me any guidance on this topic?
