Do I need to get my Real Estate License?

Do I need to/would it be helpful to work/get my real estate license to get a better understanding for real estate investment?

@Luke NelsonI think this depends what you want to do in Real Estate, I went a long time before I got mine. I am not sure I learnt anymore by having it, but for a inexperienced person going through the class you will learn some.
