Getting Paid while Driving for Dollars?

Question

So there's a new company coming out this month called Chariot for Women. It's like Uber, but with female drivers and female passengers (male children under 13 are allowed). This takes out a lot of the issues females have driving for Uber. I was thinking it would be a great way to learn the city (I'm in San Antonio, so it's pretty big) and get paid (plus get paid if you find a house). Has anyone done Uber or Lyft and found that it helps with investing?

@JR T This article says, "Courts have long held that hiring on the basis of sex is permissible where sex is a bona fide occupational qualification in the context of serving privacy interests."

This service shows the driver, does background checks on drivers and has a safe word that only the driver and passenger knows.

Per 24 hours you get 75% of sales (2% is sent to a charity of the passenger's choice out of a list of 10) for the first $100 and after that 98% of sales (minus the 2% for the charity). I'd rather get paid less if I know that I have a higher chance of being safe. Uber has a high rate of reports of sexual assaults.

That sounds completely illegal. Why stop at women? Why not have an all white taxi service? Come on. It won't last long, it certainly won't get big. The second they get any money some male lawyer is gonna come along and sue them for civil rights violations.

Why wouldn't women want to drive for the company that furnishes the most fare paying customers? What do you mean you don't know who an uber driver is? It displays their name, picture and license plate on your phone, sends it all again in e-mail. Uber tracks it's location down to 5 feet the whole time you're in it. Ubers are safer than taxis, IMHO.

have never found that either of those would help with investing.. but I like the female concept.

I wanted to get an Uber for my 83 YO mom but my daughter would not let me.. she said you don't know who the drivers are...
