Wholesaling in Ontario

Hello

I am fairly new to Bigger Pockets and to real estate investing. I am taking full advantage of this wonderful website and learning as much as I can and trying to make new contacts. My question is for anyone who lives in Ontario or is knowledgeable of the real estate market in Ontario. I am interested in starting out by doing some wholesaling just to get experience under my belt but I have read some posts that it is not as easy in Canada as in the US. Do REI out there with experience reco that I use this to get started in the business or not? I don't have a real estate license so if I were to start wholesaling how would I go about doing it? My main goal is to purchase residential properties in Hamilton, Durham and some areas of Peel for the intent of flipping and also to buy and hold eventually. I am also looking to network with other REI from my area!

Thanks
