Need some on boarding suggestions

Hi - My name is Chotima. I joined BP 3 hours ago and I've been spending that time reading through the forums.  I am a regular Project Manager in a consulting firm seeking for some new ventures out there. I have no real estate background but recently got interested in wholesale/assignee topic. I have less than $500 to start and I want to make sure I use this wisely. Should I go get a RE license first?

Any pointers to help kick start my career in real estate would be helpful. I will read the book that comes with joining BP tonight.
