How to look for a mentor?

Hi BP! First off I'd like to say I'm learning a lot from this website about terms and kinds of real estate investing. I believe the next step is looking for a mentor to show me the ropes. Since I am not coming in with my own capital, what is the best way to approach an investor who has had successful deals to mentor me? Should I get a local mentor or an online mentor. Should I be offering to do 'administrative duties' in exchange for their knowledge? Thanks in advance for your advice! Krysteena
