Where to Invest in Orlando FL?

Hello BP Community,

My name is Linda; I’m a new investor from California. My goal is to buy and hold for rental income.  I’d like to start with single family homes or small multi-family houses in Orlando, FL.  I’ve saved some money and am open to partner with local investors.  I’d appreciate it very much for any advice or recommendations as to how to start, type of properties to buy, which neighborhood is more attractive for rentals, etc.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Hey Linda. I would be more than happy to introduce you to one of my agents that works in my brokerage. All of my staff is trained to work primarily with investors so you would be in good hands. Orlando has a lot of places to invest. Lower income neighborhoods such as Pine Hills and Azalea Park prices have risen so high due to investors driving prices up, so its hard for me to recommend those areas without talking to you more about your goals. There are a lot of other places in the country with better returns so it makes me wonder why so many out of state investors are still trying to buy here.....but if you still want to put your money in Orlando, we are here to help.

Have you ever thought about investing in vacation homes? Some investors find it ideal. In terms of long- term rentals, I notice that South Orlando is great area: prices are lower. Average income still about 10%, and properties get rented within couple days. Long term or short- term - just let us know if we can help.
