Website advice

I had a very basic, one page website that I designed from Wix. My sister is a marketing exec and told me it was awful and did a new one. The one I have now is 3 pages instead of 1 and very modern looking. The new site is much nicer and more eye appealing. My mentor/father-in-law says it is too much and he didn't realize there was more than one page the first time he visited it. My question is, is the new website too difficult for people to navigate? Does it not show the appropriate information soon enough? Is there anything you notice right away you would change? Any help is much appreciated.

Just remember website designers like to make things look pretty. Website marketers focus on the message, ease of use and navigation, quick load times, are an expert in that industry etc.

Some people like to explore and others like to do one simple action to get to someone. The age group generally has types of technology they like.

It's all about targeting with the right message for the group you are trying to reach and then tracking the numbers.
