I am finally situated to get into REI but in all honesty, I am scared to death! My intentions is to by and flip and doing the bulk of the work myself. Pretty much my only fear is not knowing ENOUGH about the process, etc, etc. Any help, additionally motivation, tips, positivity is greatly appreciated!

You want to do all the work yourself, on a flip... ?   Flipping is a race against time,  whether you do a flip or a rehab, you need a good team.    See if you can find some local college kids for the basic stuff.. if it's just you.. it's draining, boring, and takes forever.... you need a team!

Experience is the only thing that will help you get over your fear!   The good thing about bad stuff ( b/c it will happen-- guarantee), is you learn to roll with the punches!    You can do it, just make sure you have all your finances lined up, and don't underestimate the importance of people and a team!

Another thing that's motivating, is the after-- people don't see the hard work, or know the crazy long hours you do.. but what they do know, is a gorgeous kitchen, pretty floors... it's an amazing feeling to look at a beautiful house and say "I did that!"
