I want to start flipping but don't know how

hi. I am a 37 year old in a suburb of Raleigh NC. I have a beautiful wife and 5 kids. I recently had a company take off with quite a bit of money that was owed to me. This has put me in a horrible financial position and has destroyed my credit. We own our home but my passion has been to flip houses and to build something for my 5 kids to takeover one day. I do a lot of side work but really want to jump in full time and put my family into financial freedom. I love Dave Ramsey and have reduced my expenses as he speaks about. Thank you!

@Daniel W Ryce I love your positive attitude even during tough times. It will help you get through a lot.

I'll give you the best advice I can offer and what I wish I knew or did when I was starting out.

The best advice I can give you is make a really good plan of action and follow your plan.

Start out by writing down your goal and objectives.

How much do you want to make a year? How much do you want to make every year?

What's the minimum amount you can make a year?

Then decide what type of real estate investing are you going to do? Wholesaling, flipping, buy and hold, lease option.

Pick only one! And stick to that one. Get really good at it. Be the best at it and you will make money.

Then put your team together, find an attorney, find an accountant. Make sure they are people you like and can work with forever because if they are good and you are successful they will be with you for a long time.

Then start networking, go to every real estate club meeting you can go to, go to every meetup, anywhere investors are meeting you should go. Get to know them and let them get to know you.

Tell them you are new to investing and ask them if you could get their advice every once in awhile. Once they get to know you and trust you, then you can bring onto your team as an investor.

Once you have your plan in place, your team ready then you can start your investing plan.  You will be successful.

If you need any help I'll be happy to help you.

I wish you the best of luck.

Stephen
