Foreign Investor in Texas

Hello Everybody,

I'm going to be studying in Texas starting this fall, and since I'm going to be there on a student visa, I'm not allowed to work off campus. That's why I got so interested in Real Estate Investing initially.

Does anybody have experience as a foreign Investor in the States, both for purchasing/ selling a property and renting out one?

I'm grateful for any advice and insight from you.
