Hi i’m a licensed general contractor, i have a few projected homes i want to buy in Nassau County Ny. I’m have 300,000 cash saved i am going to buy cash outright but what are my next steps before doing the rehab myself. Should i buy through my S-Corp how will i be taxed ? What other legalities should i beware of ? Any mentors in Nassau County who are available for coffee or lunch?

Replied

S Corps and LLCs are mostly to protect you from liability, and would have a small impact on taxes as they are pass through entities.
