Im getting word that the house that i am under contract has asbestos. Is this a deal breaker? Should i get the house tested? How much would that be? Or should i back out and look for another home

“Has asbestos” is pretty vague. I have purchased houses with asbestos siding (which is incredibly durable) and as long as you don’t break the tiles it doesn’t create an environmental hazard.
