How to begin Bird Dogging/Tips for Bird Dogging

Hi guys! I'm completely new to the field of Real Estate, but I do know that I want to begin by "bird dogging" for investors. I was mainly wondering if anyone had any tips for me on how to find investors to bird dog for and/or have any advice on how to begin . I'm based in the Massachusetts area. Thank you in advance :)

Why do you want to start with  bird dogging?

Does not make much sense  to me.

The hardest part with REI is finding the deals. So now you do find them which is the hardest thing, and you hand them over. I know you may have your personal reasons, but why not start wholesaling?

But ok, let me make this post somewhat valuable to you.

• Look for tall grass,
• Filled mailboxes
• Notice signs on the doors
• House is boarded up
• House looks in bad shape

If you want to be more active, get a car magnet with your number on it. At first I had a few short lasted thoughts of embarrassment driving with a huge sticker on my car with We Buy Houses.

But mind over matter cured that disease quickly. 

Here is what you need to learn and fast if you want to become a successful investor.

1. Mind Over Matter.
2. Get A website
3. Be aggressive, 
4. Have your goal in mind.
5. Drive through all obstacles and focus on that goal. (mine is having 1 million dollars).
6. As a great metal band lead singer once said: Nothing Else Matters!
7. Do or Die!
8. Get your friggin WEBSITE
9. If someone holds you down drop them bishes to the curb.
10. Be kind, be honest be genuine. This is something people get attracted to and it will help you close deals 
11. NEVER give up! Never!!
12. When things get easy, it means you are not doing enough/what you need to do.
13. If you are stressed it mean you are doing a little bit too much.. do MORE and learn how to reduce the stress.
14. Listen to Others but never blindly do what they tell you. Think on your own.
15. Become the authority in your market.
16. GET YOUR WEBSITE!!!
17. Annihilate all competition not by destroying them, but by completely outdoing and out performing them.
18. GET A WEBSITE!

The problem is this. If you do not make this list your second nature fast, you will just not make it. If it takes you too long to lie breathe eat and sleep this list, you will struggle as everything will seem lie too much effort for you, and nothing seems to be working for you , "it is just too difficult" " my market sucks", "Too many big dogs taking all the deals". Your mind will convince you it is not your fault and no matter what you do you never had a chance in the first place.

Don't let this happen. If you  fail it is because YOU didn't do enough. YOU slacked. There always things beyond your control... but you will rise above it. At least believe this!
