Has anyone used Morris Invest?

Hi! I'm just starting out, needing cash flow before I will be able to even purchase for myself and curious if anyone has any experience using Morris invest?

@Kim Winger - There are multiple threads on BP with extremely dissatisfied customers of Morris Invest.  Definitely recommend you do a search and read before you consider investing your business with them.

Morris needs a chance to speak.  People make bad investment decisions all the time.

A person says D class is great investment. You may disagree-Where is the Crime?

@Joel Wilmoth More people should know about your response. Although I have to agree with @Jay Hinrichs that most folks would say they are broke in these situations to get out of a conversation. Nonetheless, the victims (and these are victims) need a measure of justice.

@Shiloh Lundahl It's a guilty pleasure BUT I hope more people take heed of such fraudulent activities. Often times, I talk to newbies (online or offline) who think RE investing is a matter of throwing money at the cheapest property or the a "guru" without doing any due diligence.

In this case, obviously this was a more sophisticated scam but the fact remains... buying Class D properties sight unseen out of state is asking for trouble. It doesn't matter how reputable the Sponsor seems or how many times you've seen them on FOX, CNN or whatever other channel they appear.

Tough lessons and my sympathies are with the folks who've lost their money. This is horrible!

@Joel Wilmoth That is a big deal. Especially to say in a public forum. But if it is really true, then really sad things are about to happen. As @Omar Khan said in a different thread about following the Morris Invest saga, he called it his guilty pleasure following it. I would say that my shock and suspense are really heightened and everyday I search to see if more things have been posted about Morris Invest.

This thread says its a scam and you should run away. Anyone harmed by him, I haven't seen any evidence on google  that a class action suit has been done against them. If there's interest, I know some good class action attorneys. https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/92/topics/563...

I agree with @Jay Hinrichs and I believe the comment Morris supposedly made was probably positioning.  I quickly threw that out there and probably mislead people who read it.  I dont think for a moment he is really broke.
